Last Friday it was sunny and 60F and by Wednesday AM it will be 12F / -10F to -20F windchill and 5-8 inches of snow. God, I love Minnesota!Time for the AWD to kick in again! Yeehaw!

I think I can wait a few more months for negative wind chill. Thank you very much.

What's it like up there now, BC? We're supposed to get snow here too but so far it doesn't really seem like it's going to. I'm ready for some snow though--it's November for Pete's sake!! And I don't even HAVE AWD!

Not many are thrilled with the turn in the weather either.Personally, we didn't jack for snow last year... so I'm wondering if this is our year to make up for it...

It's not suppose to start until 9PM. The weather forcasters up here are so bored that they try and get everyone whipped up into a frenzy only to say that it will miss us the next day. It makes them feel important.(oops, j/k binary)We'll see what happens. I could wait until December for snow. That would give me more time to raise the Vibe back up and throw on some snows.

I don't feel important... even if I know it's snowing on your punk (removed) (ducks and runs for cover... )The only reason we care is so we can lock down the building if a weather alert happens. Or plan ahead and get the generators warmed up and schedule fuel deliveries. You're right though... they say its going to be the worst blizzard of all time... then it fizzles out after their ratings have gone through the roof.

It's been snowing here for about 4 hours and there's 2" on the ground so far. It's supposed to go up to 55 F over night and rain heavily though.

Just started to finally snow about an hour ago. They are expecting 1"-2" here as well. Ooooooo! Big Scary Storm! All the radio stations were ripping on the local meteorologists today. It was pretty funny.

Well, the massive storm we had dumped a total of 1/2". Suprising they were so far off (Ha, Ha). They were also off on the low temps for this morning. They forecasted 13F and as of right now it is a whopping 4F.With all this technology you would think they would be able to forecast more accurately. So now we have to factor in a error amount of +/- 8" for snow and +/- 10 degrees for temps.
