Put a set of Hella 500s on so I can see the cows that like to stand in the road, hopefully in time to avoid them.I don't think they look as ugly as my wife thought they would. I had to mount them high enough so the rabbits won't knock em off.Wired them so they would cycle on/off with the high beams also put in a dash mounted switch to keep them turned off. This was a good thing I found out later when the daytime running light came on and the dash switch was on...it cycled the driving lights relay about 3 times per second. Hmm the daytime driving lights sytem supplys voltage to the high beams. This "feature" has probably been discussed here before.

Cows is Phoenix? Definitely something I've never seen, pretty cool! Almost a Rally look.

But honestly, when i saw the first picture... i kinda laughed a little.integrating them lights into the bumper would be nice. But that would take some fabricating and fiberglass work. I'm willing to assume you don't want that.Did you give any thoughts on replacing the fog lights with these? You could always angle them to the sweet spot and be useful hitgh beams.there was a guy on here who was going to install steerable lights on his vibe in the fog lights position. I wonder what ever happen to that guy.either way. cows huh???

I looked at puting lights into the front facia...too much work to put into a commutter car. Also the low position doesn't help with lighting up the road. Function is my first goal. I can take these off and nobody would ever know they had been there, unlike cutting holes into the facia.I actually live 60 miles NW of Phx. I drive 70 miles a day down a "open range" county road and sometimes never even see another car. Just a bunch of lonely desert vermin...much like myself.
