I saw this ad on Hot Rod TV and had to check out. Next time I have to turn my disk brakes I'm going to order this product.quote:Our revolutionary On-the-car RotorResurfacer® pads allow you to resurface (or machine) your front wheel drive (or 4 wheel drive) brake rotors in less than 30-minutes, without requiring special tools or training. Join the professional service technicians who resurface brake rotors on autos, pick-ups, SUV's, and vans without removing the brake rotor from the vehicle! For only $19.95 you can do a professional resurfacing of your brake rotors! Results of the Brake Tru Process? At the heart of the Brake Tru RotorResurfacers are rugged tool grade ceramic abrasives bonded to a fiberboard backing. The RotorResurfacer pads plunge cut concentric rings into the face of the brake rotor. These rings are tiny V and U shaped grooves that allow the brake pads to seat-in (wear-in) to them increasing the amount of rotor surface area by up to 29.2%. An added benefit is the additional surface area and grooves cool the rotors at a rate 18% faster than original equipment. That lessens the possibility of brake fade and rotors warping. In addition, the 360º grooves eliminate the problem with warpage and lateral runout. Brake pedal pulsing and vibration from warped rotors is eliminated. No brake lathe that we are aware of can duplicate the resurfacing method and get the results of the RotorResurfacer® pads.Independently TestedWe had the world's largest independent brake testing laboratory test the Brake Tru® process against original equipment brake rotors. The Brake Tru® process decreased the stopping distance by 27.9 feet at 60 MPH, that's nearly two car lengths!http://www.braketru.com/To view the Tru brake in action click on the file below.

This can be a pretty scary tool in the hands of some people I know. What keeps you from "turning" an already too thinbrake rotor. I hope the guy slowing down behind me gets his done on a true brake lathe or gets a new set of discs. Seems like a cheap product doing a very critical operation that is suposed to ensure your and my safety, maybe I am being too (removed) but I think some things need to be treated very seriously and without shortcuts.

Another plus for the AWD model, though: You can turn all four... (OOPS-is there is an AWD with 4 Wheel discs?)

Is there a website? Also, how would this work for the front disks? Unless you have 4 wheel drive, how would you get the fronts to turn?
