I was in Rockford IL last night about 5pm with the family. It was raining most of the day, so we took a trip to go to dinner and BestBuy.At a stop light on hwy 51, it started raining really hard... and I made the comment "at least it isn't hailing" thinking - it's november... a minute later - pea sized hail was bouncing off my car.No damage - but I got to learn to keep my mouth shut.I concure with CP - I hope everyone is safe and sound.

Hey CP!! Glad to hear you are ok. You were the first person I thought of when I heard the news this morning. Hope others there are doing ok. That looks like quite a mess to clean up.....

drunkengirlfriend and i were going home as these very storms were roaring through our area. we didn't get it near as bad though, all we had was a hell of a light show and tons of rain. we had hoped to have a few drinks and watch the show, but by the time we to my apartment, it was all over. we couldn't believe it when we saw the news yesterday what had happened to IN and KY.

Yeah, even we were under a severe thunderstorm and tornado watch......in November, that's odd. I was amazed and saddened to see all the distruction in Indiana. This time of year you don't expect that type of crap. Around the house it was windy as all get-up and we had about 15-20 minutes of hard rain but there was barely a rumble of thunder.

round here we just had a good steady soaker with a few good rumbles of thunder. I await the day when I see THUNDER SNOW again... Remembering the Nebraska October Blizzard of 1997

Here we go again... http://www.courier-journal.com...15020The Vibe's thermometer read 73 degrees as I left for work this afternoon. Very windy and very humid. (supposed to be 42 tomorrow for a high)The storms have yet to arrive here, but they are knocking at the back door as I type this... I've had some bad "vibes" about today, something doesn't seem right... Wish us luck around here.
