Like, oh my god, like all that like all those totally cool soccermoms would like need to do is like get those CDL thingies so they can like drive something with those air brake things, then they can like ditch their like totally waaaay toooo small expeditions, tahoes, escalades, and excursions and like totally drive these to the mall fer sure!! (removed)! One question: Is that a Ford or Dodge bed on the back of those? Looks VERY out of place, one would think if they went through all that trouble of designing those trucks, why the hell use a bed off something way smaller?

Gee, when you aren't well equipped, it's always good to use tons upon tons of steel, the chicks will never know the difference! Oh so many years ago, I laughed my (removed) off at this page. (looks like it is no longer with us, so I used the wayback machine.) At the time, this was funny as hell - things wouldn't come to that, I assumed. I'll be damned if that we ended up with these things - it isn't so funny now.I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during the times where the powers that be at International met to discuss these things... If I was well off enough to bet $20, I would say that they sure as hell weren't sitting around saying "you know, if we took our trucks and enlarged the cab, putting a bed on them, people would flock to our dealerships to purchase such a strong and flexible vehicle!" Nope, sorry. Instead they were probably like "Check out this suburban commando magnet! Those yuppies with more money than they have sense will love one of these useless pieces of crap so they can trump their Hummer driving neighbors in their ritzy subdivision, and to "prove to all the chicks" that they have big wieners!" That's all this is about, at least from what I see. No way are these stupid things actually built for "function." If they were, crap like DVD players would not be on the options list! Yeah, someone is going to use this for work purposes - maybe they can pull a building down and their kids can fricken watch Old Yeller in comfy bucket seats in the back in the process!

Who are you kidding - those ARE 'rigs' - they're made by International afterall.... Just a Semi-tractor in SUV garb. They even state they're trying to go after the business and contractor markets....Damn they're huge though. My favorite marketing line was "You can put the Hummer in back and take it with you"

GM has been making trucks like that for a while now. Great for towing boats, race car trailers, huge 5th wheel campers...
