Congrats!! That's a cute puppy. I always liked the look of dobermans, dobermen, dobermenses.....whatever, without the cropped ears.

We probably will get her ears done when she's old enough. I like the natural ears too, but my wife and I want them done so she looks mean and more intimidating. We got her for protection, and even though she's gonna be a lovable family pet, we want the "look" that will make strangers poop in their pants (no offense ) if you know what I mean.

Here's another pic of the puppy for scale, next to a ferocious black panther... ...with a "purple" collar??? Oh wait... that's not a panther, it's just our family cat. The cat is bigger than the Doberman...(for now anyway! )

He's awesome. His name is Odin (after the Norse god of war). He is the smartest and silliest dog I've ever owned. Extremely well tempered and very energetic and playful. Great for socializing the Doberman. He's the dog in my signature chasing butterflies. That's my boy!

You can't take a man's dog...that is just wrong!!! I love all of the puppy photos. My dog is almost 11 now and I flash back to his puppy years. Recently we have been through some really tough times with him so I thank you all for the puppy photos and memories, I love them. You all have cute new babies!!!!
