How did everyone do with Hurricane Wilma?

Hey, Just wondering how all everyone in FLA did with the Hurricane. I live in Miramar and we got hit pretty hard, but we're doing ok. We got our power back on Thursday night. There was some damage to the house and cars ( the vibe was in the garage so it was fine ) I'll post pics as soon as i get a chance. Hope everyone was safe!!!- Juan

My mom is in Port St. Lucy. She just got power back today. Everything else is fie. Glad to hear your family is fine.

i was in cozumel, but we evacuated before it hit. ruined my whole honeymoon. it could have been worse, though. since we evacuated earlier than most people, we were in a hotel 25 miles inland instead of being herded into a shelter and given gov't rations. and flying out of cancun was a nightmare. there are probably still US tourists stuck down there.

I live in Melbourne Beach (about 20 miles North of Vero Beach) Lost a front yard tree and about ten roof shingles. My next door neighbor lost his whole roof ridge vent. I lost electric, cable and water pressure for about twenty hours. Two miles south of me, on A1A, a small tornado took off the roof of a house and deposited the roof righ in the middle of A1A. Last year i took a big HIT (about $7000.00 worth of damage). Ah, the good old "Sunshine State"!
