Touch up paint colors-- 2005 just different name?

I went to a pontiac dealer today to get touch up paint for my 2005 platinum, the guy tried to look it up in the parts system and didn't see that color listed. I know for sure that it is the exact name of my cars color. So he asked me for the vin and when he typed it in it came up "satellite silver," and ordered the paint for me. Did they just change the name of the color and platinum and satellite are essentially the same? or did he order the wrong color?thanks,Chris

I'll look tomorrow.I have to go to work to fix a freinds PC, and I have a few other things to look up for people on here.

I believe it is satellite.

when i bought my 04 in NOV 04. it was called satelite silver.never heard of a vibe being called platinum

I'm not hallucinating, I looked it up in the 2005 catalog just to be sure.

my '05 is called PLATINUM, i have the window sticker in my car. you can also find the code for the color in the glove box i beleive on the bottom left corner of the sticker in the glovebox
