Washed my Vibe today and discovered a ding on the rt. rear fender. Damn!

OK, but could you define what a ding is? Less than a dent? More then some paint missing? The sound of a small bell? What you put after and on a bed (bedDING)? The sound old phones used to make, with "-a-ling"? Yes, I"ve had too much eggnog. KSNeptune

Easy fix for $75. Find a place that uses, I believe, dry ice to pop the ding out. This is, if it doesnt have a crease. You cant even tell a ding was there when they do it. Doesnt weaken the paint, either.Lets see, I've had my Vibe for 2 months, and so far, there's 2 scratches on the front of the hood and a bite taken out of the windshield. Not a good sign.

The dingo that ate my baby looks like a gouge from a door in a parking lot.
