In the2006 Vibe new car brochure they say, "For even more attitude, you can also add an available polished stainless steel exhaust tip and specially designed 17" cast chrome wheels". This statement is beside the attached picture that shows the wheels. Does anyone know anything about these wheels? Are they actually available? Is there a part number?

Those are the Accessory wheel, go to gmgoodwrench.com, tab for accessories, Pontiac, Vibe, and look at Vibe Accessories.

Yeah, which one is it? I haven't had cheesy rice before, but it combines two of my favorite foods so maybe it ain't half bad! Yum!The wheels though, those are slightly tacky, IMHO. They should have just taken the 16" wheels, made them into a 17" diameter, and chromed those.

That is the first time I have ever seen those wheels actually on a Vibe. I am not a big fan of chrome, way too flashy. And I don't think it technically counts as rice if it is a factory option. Well maybe instant rice possibly, but not the 20 pound bag of Costco rice we usually make fun of.

Looks nice to me but I'd never put those on my car.

I found a better picture of the wheels. Definitely not my taste. You would think GM would of picked a better wheel to offer as chrome. http://www.gmaccessories.net/f...81313

The car itself looks ricey. The side skirts on the Vibe just aren't my taste. Throw in the midgate spoiler and the wing on top and it pushes it over the edge. Our cars are borderline rice anyway, those things just toe it past the line.Lowered with cool rims is fine though, consdiering I'm sitting on Scion TC 17s and just installed the springs...

i don't like chrome neither. but the design isn't distasteful.on the rice issue. the mid gate spoler is waht takes the vibe over the grain side. chrome rims aren't ricey. 20" gunmetals are.
