So i had my right side wisdom teeth pulled today. and i am alll messed up. the bottom tooth's roots were curled around my jaw bone and they had to just cut the roots, and leave them in so more than likely i'm gonna have to have surgery to remove them. which is not gonna be fun. surgery was done about 130 and it is now 411, and i still haven't stopped bleeding,so i can't go to sleep

brutal..hope you get better soon.when i got all 4 of mine removed, i remember being in the recovery room 'sobering up' from the knockout drugs and having the hardest time NOT telling my parents stuff i never wanted to tell them! It was like they used some sort of truth serum on me!!??My parents found out a few things that day, but have never used pr punished me for any of it and that was over 10 years ago...and don't do what my wife's friend did. she was told to eat ice cream to help 'ease the pain'. well her favourite ice cream was chocolate chip mint...so she had a mouthful before she realized that eating chocolate chips with stitches in your mouth is NOT a good idea!

For 10 years my dentist has been after me to get my wisdom teeth out and for 10 years I keep saying no. I dont like pain in any way, shape or form. I have a low pain tolerance.

Give it a good 24 hours before the bleeding stops and don't use any straws for your water or pop. Make sure you avoid alcohol while taking hydrocodone and acetaminophen.

The first 24 hours are the worst.I had all 4 out at once, and my tongue was still numb for several hours afterwards so I couldn't swallow or spit. With all the bleeding (& saliva) i felt like i was gonna drown in it; i couldn't sleep either. Hang in there.PS- Atomb: the anesthesia some docs use for wisdom teeth is actually similar to truth serum. When a friend of mine had his out - they talk to you while putting you under to gauge the effect. Well, his doc made the mistake of asking him if he did anything with computers. They couldn't get him to shut up!

That bites! pun intended. I have never had anything other that cavaties when I was a kid. My wisdom teeth came in staight. So no reason to have them removed. I do know how you feel though. I was given a nerve block for my labrum ligament surgery. Nothing like waking up and wondering where the heck did your arm go and what the heck is laying on my stomache.

When I was 17 I was told that I should have two of my wisdom teeth which are sideways totally under my gums removed. 45 years later they are still there and I am still here. Go figure!

Fortunately it seems to be not a big deal.
