I would like to subscribe to a few magazines that have articles and products for the vibe/matrix. Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be a good choice ? Thanks

I subscribe to an online newsletter from:http://www.wardsautoworld.com/and until recently (when we moved) i was also receiving their print version for free...just make up a company name and give yourself a higher up position and they'll mail you a monthly magazine for free...(just make sure your company is in the auto industry)good industry news and the online newsletter is quite timely.

There are not too many magazines that have articles on the Vibe/Matrix. Mainly, just the Motor Trend or Car & Driver type of mags that have the model year reviews in them. I subscribe to Sport Compact Car.

MAGSFORLESS.COM has an awesome deal for Motor Trend, Car & Driver, AND Road & Track for $8 for a year - yep all 3 subscriptions. And they have quite a few other good deals, but this is the best - IMHO.

I get AutoWeek, Motor Trend, Automobile, Consumers Report, andConsumersGuide; howevr, I find that it is a lot easier to go to "Google' type in "Pontiac Vibe reviews" and get the info on the net. Check ot "Detroit Auto News on the net, autoweb.com (good reviews), DetroitFreePress.com, Edmunds.com, Cars.com, Vehix.com all good sources of reviews, prices, etc.

Checked out that website. Are those prices for each magazine or for a whole year's subscription? If it's for a whole year's subscription, then that's really cheap!!

I read AutoWeek. I've tried a lot of the mags, and this is by far my favorite. When you purchase a new car, however, you (usually) are automatically subscribed to Pontiac Performance, a quarterly magazine that is focused primarily on the car you purchased (i.e. if you buy a Vibe, it's a mostly Vibe-oriented mag, G6 gets a majority G6-oriented mag, etc.).

How would I subscribe?PS- I started getting Road & Track about a year ago. I like Peter Egan's column, the People & Places and Tech Tidbits sections, but it's generally pretty useless to me. The cars they review are for the most part beyond my means or impractical for me, and I'm not a big racing buff.I think they reviewed the Vibe GT in 2002 when it came out, but I've never seen anything else Vibe related.

I read and recommend Automobile magazine, whose mantra is 'No Boring Cars!' $10 a year, for 12 issuesOf course, they're online too --> http://www.automobilemag.comNothing Vibe-centric, just good reading for a wide spectrum of car enthusiasts.Automobile is often irreverent. Who else publishes PJ O'Rourke car articles?? IIRC David E. Davis began the magazine more than a decade ago with a good bit of Rupert Murdoch's money.DED has gone on to become Editor Emeritis or some such old-fart title, but he still writes a monthly column. He enjoys fine spirits, fine cigars, fine guns, fine accomodations, fine automobiles, and fine women, and his columns often talk about all but the latter!BTW, at one time, DED was editor of Car & Driver.

The $8 subscription is for 1 year for all three magazines - at least that's what I expect to get. Sounds too good to be true, huh?

You know how the saying goes... "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!"There's got to be some catch to it. I don't see how three magazine subscriptions can cost only $8.00. Maybe there's a huge cost for shipping?? Are you going to subscribe to any? If so, let me know how it turns out. I want to subscribe to a couple of mags!
