So, I was driving off base this morning after checking in for duty and saw a Pontiac Grand Am SC/T. (removed) is that? It's like supercharged and turboed?!? Any ideas on what the SC/T is? Looked nice, had a nice hood, chrome wheels, all that, overall pretty cool looking, it was a newer model, just never seen the SC/T before.

seems cheap to call something an SC/T and only give it appearance mods.

I haven't seen one yet either, but I'd like to. I agree with the others who said that it seems cheezy to bill a model as "sport" or "performance" when it has the same performance as the basic model. Fits right into the "ricer" concept. "All show, no go" just doesn't make sense to me---it's like, why bother?

It's pretty... slow.14.9sec in the 1/4 mile? I guess we can thank the 4speed automatic for that. It's a waste of a good S/C... Vibe GT numbers:Top speed : 134 mph0-60 mph : 7.3 sec.(manual)0-¼ mile : 15.7 sec @ 92.0 mph(estimated)60-0 braking distance : 118 ft200 ft skidpad : 0.78 g
