OK I am new to this car and XM. I have been unable to find this info in the owners manual. How do I select a channel like 145 directly without just holding the seek or scan button until that channel goes past? Surely the must be a way to punch in numbers to get to a channel number. With 247 channels there must be a better way. Thanks

Nope, you have to use the seek/scan button unfortunately.

Use the "Tune/Select" knob below the volume knob. It'll zip you around all the stations pretty quickly.Screengrabs from owner's manual:

...also, once you're ready to choose your presets (you've got 12), space them so that you can use them to get to others around the dial.Ex. I've got a preset on 44 (Fred) so I can click over once to 45 (XM Cafe). I've also got a preset on 175 (Home Plate) and then I just scroll through the MLB channels afterthat.

Thanks ZubenElGenubi that was good info. Guess I need to get more organized with this radio. I never used the tuning knob for some reason just the seek and scan knob. Good to find a faster way.
