Went to a show today with mostly old muscle cars but there where a few modern cars there like mine. I won best in class in my class. pretty big trophy too. I will post pics of my car and the trophy later today after church.Here is all my car show trophies. all but the big blue vibe one are from my previous car. getting a good collection in my own opinion.

Very nice win. I like what you did to the engine. I did not know someone was making a CAI for the 2005. I want to do the hoses in my engine bay like yours.

Congrats ! Very nice ride...How many cars were in your class and what makes/models were you up against ?You need some nice aftermarket wheels now.

there where no make model categories just classes. there where like 6 or so in my class. couple v8 cars (newer) and some nice daily driven muscle cars. wheels are coming next spring. too close to winter for me and the roads here in the mountains get rough with salt.

alot of people dont kow about the 05 intake and I posted a how to on it. the only thing that needs to be moddified is the extra hose on the 05 isnt long enough to reach the intake so you have to lengthen the hose. that is it. cosmo is adding the extra fitting on their intakes now for the 05

Glad to see you won... that's cool. I'm glad to see that Cosmo is adding that extra fitting for the 05 intakes now, I'm having a custom bracket made for mine since they sent me the wrong one. Will have to see how it turns out. Your car looks pretty sweet... deserves that trophy!

Congrats on your win! Very clean and well-modded Vibe you've got there. I'm curious about the blue insulation you used for your AC compression lines; where'd you get that? Also, I didn't know it was OK to insulate the hot lines. Guess that's for wintertime?

yeah, the 05 is made that way. I love the IGO, universal cell charger, why didnt I think of that. I didnt insulate per say, i used wire loom to cover the lines ugliness. still looking for some bigger blue to finish off the other ugly big black hoses. And I have some silicon blue radiator hoses off ebay for the matrix. Hope they fit. thanks for everyones opinions. I love my vibe.
