I was at Walmart the other day and had to pick up a lighted candy cane to hang it in the rear off of the grab handle.Anyone else do any decorating?

Cool looking, but unfortunately that is one of the many "cop-magnets" in my area.

I actually put lights in my Vibe a few weeks ago... just to try out the outlet in the dash. Now I have multicolored lights strung up over the two rear passenger grab handles and back over the cargo cover (all hooked up with an extension cord to the plug on the dash). No pics, but it does get a lot of looks and really lights up the interior of the car and it's nice to be able to turn them on with a press of a button - just in case I do spot a cop.

I ran lights similar to Toasted7, but I tied mine to the glass hatch shocks to give them some height. I am jealous of the candy cane, it looks sweet (pun fully intended)Next year my windows will be tinted over so lights won't be visible from inside, so I will run lights around the roof rack and run a cord out the back window. Should be fine for putting around town. And my bride said I had no xmas spirit.

I put 150 flashing light in my Vibe. Looks nice but it light a little bit too much for driving at night

Did you meet some cops on your way with your lights? Do you think they can say something wrong about that?

I think, at worst, cops will ask me to turn them off. I hope they won't give me a ticket for that. I did it jst for fun, and to be remark by others.

I tried to put mulit color lights on the roof rack but the plug was to big to twist around the cross bar. I will try the inside of the car tonight.

How about making a holder for one of these lighted deer and put it up on the roof rack. Wonder how much wind one of these would take?(sorry for the poor photoshop image)

cohocarl, I bet someone up north (Mi) would take a shot at you during deer hunting season.

i think it will pull a little too much power. The power outlet is only 100w (less then 1 amp)

yea i know its kinda late, but now that i can post pics... here are my xmas light... i just took em out yesterdayI installed them like xmas eve, thats when i took the pic.Theyre round bulbs with silicon on em so it give em that fire effect.. it looked really cool.The cops didnt really have a problem wit em, this one time i was parked with my car and the xmas lights on hangin out. Then out of nowhere a cop car pulled up next to me and signaled me to roll down the window. So i was thinkin like oh crap! Then he asked me how i did it and he laughed. So i told him i had an inverter in the dash and his partner was like "if i did that, i would have those light up beer cans"... Then they drove away.....
