The weather is on a strict schedule...

Today is the last day of summer and the high temp here will be around 80-85F. Tonight, storms will be rolling in around midnight and temps are going to plummet starting tomorrow with lows in the low 40's and highs around 60-65 from then on. It's not too often that a season changes on the day it says on the calendar.

(removed). well, it's been NICE and SUNNY here the past few days about 60-65 ° F. yes, that's HOT here (it's a direct sun so it's like getting microwaved). tomorrow it'll start getting overcast again and probably be high's of 40-50's. Winter's fast approaching here as I could see the termination dust (snow on top of the mountain peaks) already.

Just because the calender says it is Fall doesn't mean that the temps will change. You live close enough to Iowa to know that. I am sure we will probably see a few more days in the near future of upper 80's yet before it gets nice.

it's been in the mid 80's the last couple days and a high of 87F (31.5C) today. Front moving in tonight and only a high of 60 tomorrow. Lol, I was able to cut grass in shorts and still broke out a sweat.

Yeah, well here we sit 34F with about 5 inches of snow on the ground and no power throughout a lot of the city. Strangely my office has power even though the block across the street is out. Woke up to no power, no heat and no water this morning too. 53F inside your house is not a good feeling!
