A friend of mine just bought a new Honda Civic. She knows how much I value the ingformation on this forum so we looked for a honda forum for her. There are sooo many and they are sooo techincal for us girls. Anyone know where she can find info easily? Her car is making horrible sounds when she brakes and it is only 6 months new!

Don't waste time searching the Internet. If she is having problems with a new car, tell her to take it back to the dealership and have it fixed.

Thanks...I passed the info on to her. Apparently, she has gone to the dealer and they were not helpful.

She should then go to another dealer and tell Honda if she has had a bad experience with a dealer. I hate when dealerships/dealer service gives people crap over things or treats them like idiots. All dealerships are NOT the same, she just has to find one that actually IS helpful. I almost bought a 2002 Civic EX, but the dealership didn't treat me well enough and I couldn't find another dealer with a similar car so now I am very happily a new Vibe owner and very glad that I didn't purchase the Civic.
