Cold engine idles at 2 rpms

Just wondering if that's normal...I'll start my engine cold and it will be at 1.5 or 2 RPMS, kind of sounds like a race car. One I shift into Drive or Reverse, it goes down to 1.

Ah, completely normal. All the Vibe's idle around 2000RPM when cold and then idle down to 1000RPM when either warmed up or put in gear. Mine idles around 1600-1800RPM cold and 600-800RPM warm.

yep. that's about normal for the vibe. same here, with the CAI, mine idled pretty low once warmed up. it sometimes sounded like it was going to stall, but usually never did. lol.
