Did anyone have the sound problem come from meter cluster.When i go for 30mph above it will vibrate and "klik-klik" sound coming there.Please share with me.Mine is 2003 vibe and i live in Malaysia. mmx_service@yahoo.com

nerver happened to me. are you still under warranty? maybe you can just bring it to your dealer, specially if it does that since a while...

I haqve had similar problems in older cars that did not have the electronic speedometer, where the rotating cable connecting the transmission to the speedometer was sticky, and it would bind/release/bind/release, making a lot of clicking sounds, but since you have a Vibe, or is it a Voltz, that can't be the problem on your car.If it is a right hand drive Voltz, then the dashboard should be a mirror image of a Vibe, I don't think there is any potential click sources in a Voltz that would be over on the paseenger side in a Vibe.I haven't tried it, but the instrument cluster is not that difficult to remove. You could unplug the wiring connector from the instrument cluster and then drive it up to a speed where you hear the sound, and if the sound is not there, then either the problem is inside the instrument cluster, or is something that you fixed when reaching around to unplug the connector. If the sound is still there, then you know it's not a problem in the cluster. You could also remove the cluster from the dashboard altogether, that might make it easier to identify the source of the sound. I have never tried this, so I could be wrong, but I think that the car will still run normally with the instrument cluster unplugged.Has it always made this sound, or is this something that recently started happening? There are some people who have had a rattle at their instrument cluster. vibeowner has a web page that talks about fixing dashboard rattles and some other useful info at http://vibeowner.home.comcast.net/Is the click sound constant or just sometimes, a steady series of clicks, or a couple of clicks, some amont of time, some more clicks? I am not sure what relay might be clicking in there, or if it is a rattle of some sort.

Next time you hear the sound, push firmly on the rings around your gauges. If the sound stops when you push on them you have found the problem, which are plastic clips that tend to rattle and squeek. Try taking off the cluster rings, like in the link below. They come off real easy so it is the easiest thing to check first, and all you have to do is grab the rings and pull carefully. The plastic clip in the center of the ring assembly is the usual culprit. Use a piece of electrical tape, teflon tape, or any tape to cover the plastic clip. thanks to all i finally settle this problem

what was the fix?

i just remove the instrument panel and put a black tape as a medium to fix the cover and it will no longer space between the gap on the clip.
