Honda: Fill'er up!

I'm all for dressing up and boosting a car's performance. You know, body kits and alike. I also like to see people take pride in their cars and all that. Some people like more go than show and others want to "pimp" their rides. Whatever, I just wonder if anyone told this person " do you really think it is a good idea to have the gas cap on the roof?" http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1368550

That has got to be one of the ugliest modified cars I've ever seen! The gas cap/door on the roof? And that serves what purpose?!I like the rear of the car with the license plate recessed like that. The spoiler however, what were they thinking???The car looks more like something that fell out of the sky. Kind of like a space ship of some sort. What a terrible waste of money!

Wow. That's all I can think of to say. And as an aside...reading stuff like that makes me SO glad for this site--that sounded like a bunch of 12-year olds saying the 'f' word constantly, just because they can. Makes me appreciate you guys!!

That person who built that car is a moron. If his fuel line has the slightest leak of vapor come out, his high watt amp is right there to ignite it! And where did he get that horrid kit from?! Toys-R-Us? I...I...need to sit down. Some people.....hahaha.

I'm still curious about the fuel inlet in the roof. I didn't see anything in the description about that.

Thats just dumb, I'll say that. nice way to scratch the hell out of the car, but he may have doen it because he's kinda tall..I went to their fabrication page and he was tall compared to the car, dumb reason to do it but may be the reason, Who knows anymore.

NO.NO.NO.NO.Will someone PLEASE find this guy's meds? A lot of work went into that HORRIBLE, AWFUL UNSPEAKABLE atrocity. There's so many things to comment on, I don't know where to start.OK, I got one. There's this monster Autometer Racing tach (with shift light) attached to the dash, and this thing has an AUTOMATIC!Riiiiiight.AND, its for sale. I bet he'd trade even for a 2 person tent.

I think it's kind of cool, definitely unique! It is certainly original and looks mostly custom, so I have to give it !

I'm with Damnronjr...It's original, it looks like they put their sweat and effort into it - I'm sure it wasn't cheap.I'll givem props for trying.Looks like the body kit covered up the original filler port... hence the reloc. It could have been put in a much better spot - but at least it looks clean.

I would hate to be the one who has to sit back there with his noggin right in front of the f'in fuel filler tube... Especially right after lil' buddy just crammed that p1mp1n' honda full of gas and someone behind us who is laughing their (removed) off at the car fails to stop in time...That's a shload of work, and it looks like it is reasonably quality work, I will give them that. But good god...... (removed)?--and-- WHY THE HELL DO YOU NEED A SHIFT LIGHT ON AN AUTOMATIC????????? (removed) is the logic in that? Dat's just st00pid! Quote, originally posted by dude that's selling this hideous thing »(CORRECTION TRANS IS AUTOMATIC)!I guess he didn't realize what kind of transmission it had in it before he listed the car on ebay?

I gotta take the other track here.....Putting all that sweat, effort, and money into something as atrocious as that doesn't earn anyone any props in my book. It just means that, in addition to having hideous taste, they're not particularly bright.Ok, done flaming the poor guy. (And I admit the bodywork is of good quality, just a waste of good quality work.)

I bet he'd trade even for a 2 person tent.Thank you. Oh man that was driving me nuts too. And yes...the body work was done cleanly and carefully, but who cares!? That thing looks like a failed experiment, with an automatic, giant guage, stock interior, crappy engine and engine compartment, cessna wing, and a roof that will peel off soon from any gas spills. Any skill that was put into this car was eclipsed by the overpowering stench of (removed) ugly. And how the heck do you wizz in your gas tank when you get drunk with it way up on the roof? Poor design prevails again....

If he had put the money that he put into that kit into his engine he'd have one hell of a car.
