The M&T Sub ia a 6.5" dual voice coil woofer. Each vioce coil is rated at 2 ohms @ 50 watts. I know this because I took mine out and actually measured it.If you read it is an 8", 10" or maybe 12", it is wrong. The woofer is 6.5". Hard to believe to see that a subwoofer is a 6.5" driver.

Specifically the depth? Is there enough space to install an 8" or 10"?

joe,are you aking with or without the monsoon sub enclosure? The sub enclosure has right around 3" of mounting depth. Without the enclosure, and mounting a sub to the interior panel, you could probably add anothe 2". Keep in mind that the sub needs an enclosure to sound proporly.

Thanks for the info, restanim. This is my first visit back to the forum since my question. My sub project has been on hold. Just too much going on lately. The depth with and/or without the enclosure is exactly what I needed. I don't want to spend the money on a new panel not knowing if I could even use it. Maintaining as much cargo space as possible is critical for my line of work, so I will be doing a free air installation.
