I know there is other post about this, but, I want more recent informations. I have 2500 km (about 1553 milles) on my Vibe and the most km I can do with a full gaz tank is 528 km (328 milles). After the 528km, I was able to put 43.5 L (11,6 US Gallons)... (I was running with the empty tank light)Do you have a better millage ? What are your results ? How many Km or Milles can you do wilth a full tank...I do 80% of highway.

Well All I can say is that you are not that far off. On the highway I can do 600km with a totally full tank. This was a trip from niagara falls to ottawa, at 120 kmhr or so with mid grade esso gas, the light was on when i got back. In the city, with a mixture of some hwy driving through the city and around the city I got 400 km. This is a base automatic car.So If you say you are at 530km with 80% highway I don tthink you are far off. How fast do you travel on the hwy and around the city, it can play a big part. I am only at 2800 km on my odo, so it may change as mentioned above.

I was wondering the same as FoxTV. Usually, I do about 450 km with a tank (40l). I have a base, manual and sometimes I'm little rough on hte gas pedal. Most of my driving is in city. I think we are all in the same average for gas milage.

I've been carefully logging my fuel usage in my PDA since my 3rd fill up, and over 10 tanks and ~2300 miles I've been getting 26.55 miles per gallon (That's 11.28 kM/L, eh). I use the 93 octane fuel, since no one around here sells the recommended 91.

Yea, sorry, forget to mention that.Vibe BaseAutomatic80% Highway / 20% cityI drive between 100km/h and 115km/h on the highwayI don't push my car mush...I will be happy when I will get 550km or 600km of a full gaz tank. The "fuel reserv" is too big... I think I could make 50 km or 60 km on that ! ... If you can really put 50L in the tank. I don't want to try it

Did a round trip of 564.7 km today—115-120km/hr— and refilled with 50.8L. about 32-33 mpg, all hwy, though with a load on the return trip.

The new (for '02) GM spec for the low fuel warning light is SUPPOSED to be that it comes on at 'E', and then has 6% fuel remaining (at least for larger tanks; may be more for our size) i.e. ~0.8 USG (3 L.), but it looks like the Toyoto/Pontiac development team left it at the old, higher spec. Mine also comes on above E; I drive another 50 or so nail-biting klicks and then find it still takes only 43 L (11.4 USG).BTW, I have seen fuel economy vs. temperature graphs which show ~ 20% loss at 20 F. vs. 70; more for short-hop city travel. My former wheels ('87 Pontiac/Chev/Suzuki 3 cylinder) got 56 to 60 Mi per Imperial gal. in Summer (!), ~46 -48 in Winter (all highway travel)
