Ahh, I was browsing ye ol' interweb this evening when I found a window alerting me I needed to clean my registry! What am I to do? How can this be? Registry, what's a registry? I don't have no steenkin' registry! It then came to me once I saw all that horrid text. Silly me, that's an image, since I haven't seen text that wasn't antialiased in ages on my linux box and never on the mac. Seeing text that jagged is just screaming WINDOWS! Uhh, anyway, I guess an interesting topic I can send this thread into would be this: Those of you running alternative browsers (opera, firefox, etc) regardless of platform, what's with these popunders? 99.9% of all popups in Opera go directly to its trash up at the top where I can decide if I want to open the popup window (good for im's when i actually need the window to open.) But I'm getting more and more of these suckers as time goes by, despite popups being disabled. Same deal with Firefox - I've seen it on Mac, Linux, and on Windoze at work...*gasp* Those guys are getting clever... I wonder what they're doing to the browser to allow this crap to happen?

I've eliminated that popunder stuff in FireFox by simply not loading the Flash add-in for FireFox. If a website absolutely REQUIRES Flash (I've only found one or two), I just use (gasp) Internet Exploder.
