Welcome To GenVibe! The GF-5's would look nice on an Abyss Vibe. When looking make sure the bolt pattern is 5x100 and the overall diameter of the wheel & tire combo is as close to stock as possible. When you say all terrain, do you mean muddin' tires or did you mean all season?

All Season Sorry. I wanted to get a tire that would have something in the snow. But yeah those rims with the all season tires would be real close to the stock size. I was using the calculator on the top of the forum and it said it would throw it off by .5 of a mile so thats nothing big. Di you think I would have to lower it at all? And if so how much would it effect the AWD system and traction in the snow? Thanks for your opinions, Im going to get those rims then appreciate it!

[QUOTE=Credz] I found a pair of rims that I liked and are within my price range..I hope you get a set instead of a pair. The Vibe would look alot better with all four wheels matching.LOL I believe it would look good without lowering the Vibe. But then it is a personal choice. As for snow you should do what many other Genvibers do and use the stock rime with snow tires and switch between seasons.

Yeah lol i meant a set of all 4 rims and tires for 980$ on wheelmax.com. I guess thats not bad? Im all new to this. I like the way it looks when its lowered but i dont know if it would work overly well in the winter. But oh well lol

Well, i changed my mind about the rims..
http://www.edgeracing.com/2005...l/283/I decided to go with these instead. I saw a black vibe like mine but it was a 03 and mines a 05 and I thought they looked nice on it. So after seeing that vibe with them on, i was hooked pretty much lol.

those will look tight, make sure you get a good tire that has a good lip around the edge. it will make curbing them a little harder. these have a good lip protector.
http://www.conti-online.com/ge....htmlI got them at tire discounters

i dont think theres a difference ut i could be wrong. however you wouldnt want to run 18 in the winter anyway. they are heavy an heavier with snow on them. they are wider and lower profile. which isnt good in the snow. you dont want salt eating your nice wheels. run the stock tires and rims in the winter and when you can afford to get a nice set of snow tires for the stock rims.

Yeah, I didnt plan on putting my rims on until after winter which is a long wait lol. But i didnt order them yet either, I probably will in next few weeks though. Its not really worth putting them on for a few months then taking them back off is it?

On these here...
http://www.edgeracing.com/2005...l/286/Where is says ET...is that the offset?I cant seem to find anything where it says this.i noticed the 18x7 are like 45 and the 18x8 are 35...Just wondered if that was the offset. and if so..which would be the better choice?

Any Help? I got some info on the rims..Size: 18x7PCD: 5x100ET: 42Weight: 24lbs.orSize: 18x8PCD: 5x100ET: 35Weight: 25.8lbs.Im not real sure of the offset for the vibe either though...On the pontiac site it says something like 40.6cm (Wheels, 16" (40.6 cm) cast aluminum )So if the offset is 40.6, i should go with the 18x7 cause its a 42? if thats what the ET means. Cause its closer to the 40?Any help would greatly be appreciated thanks.

My Evo 5 wheels are 18x8, 5x100 (required for Vibe), offset of 35mm, and weigh 26.5lbs each. The 35mm offset will look better than the 42mm. The 42mm wheels will look more tucked in the fenders. My 35mm 18x8's are close to being flush, but not quite. I read some where that the stock 17s weigh 27 lbs and most wheels are less than that.
