Howdy. I found this site through Google while looking for Vibe info, and I like it a lot. I am in the market for a car right now, I drove some Scions yesterday and I am heading off in a few minutes to drive a Vibe.I guess what attracted me to them is the local pricing, they have a killer deal on a base Vibe with the power package and "Moon & Tunes" package, supposedly for only $13,900. I really like the styling and options for the money, not to mention that bulletproof engine. I'll probably make my decision today between a base Vibe and a Scion xB. If I get the Vibe I'll post pics. Mods I plan on doing.. probably not much at first, I'll definitely be getting the windows tinted right away though. Then I'll probably add the sport package later if I can buy it in a matched color, maybe upgrade to custom rims and new tires.Anyway, thanks for reading!-MSR

Well, we just got back from the dealer. I drove a nice white 2005 base model and loved it. It has more room than the xA, looks nicer and runs faster than the xB, and my wife likes it too. The deal I saw in the paper was a "lead in", that price was for a pre-owned one actually.I ended up buying a Platinum 2005 Vibe (Base model) with the Power Package and Moon & Tunes Package. It was $3000 under MSRP too with the employee pricing and rebates. GM has an additional $1000 rebate you can qualify for if you have a non-GM vehicle in your household, which we do (a '95 Nissan 240sx).I'm looking forward to picking it up tomorrow! I'm getting the windows done within the week. Guess it's time to start saving for the sport body kit and new rims/tires.

I'm confident I made the right choice. We paid a little more than we would have for the Scion xB, but my wife hated it's boxy style, and our Vibe has a lot more options. It's a sweet looking ride, I just can't wait to personalize it a little.I'll post some pics after I pick it up from the dealer.

I picked up my Vibe today, and it's great. It drives and feels like a $25,000 car. I ended up getting the Moon & Tunes package for only $755 more. After looking at some of the killer Vibes here, I already have the urge to start customizing mine. What did it cost most of you for your tint? These have a lot of window surface so I figured they might be a little more expensive.

Time for a couple of pics. It's all stock right now, so I guess if you've seen one Platinum Vibe you've seen them all..

Hah, yeah I guess it does. I'm making the appointment to get the windows done soon. That will probably be the last bit of money I spend on it for a couple of months while I save for some new springs and a nice rim/tire package. Here's a side shot.

great choice. I got mine tinted right after i bought it. cost me $125 all around. Like you said, it is roomy for us old fogies with kids and wives (or fiance's in my case). I have done some mods, about all I can do with the money I have. If you want an intake I can help with that too, cosmo makes the only one for the 05 vibe. nice looking ponyota you got there.

yeah, anyone in martinsville va area can go to fineys. he is a great guy and does a quality job. The price drops for every minuite over what he quoted you. I was quoted $175 dropped that to $125 cause he had a personal issue to deal with. works for me. my girl and I were in greensboro nc that day anyways so it isnt like i was picking up anytime soon.

I'd rather the guy take his time than try and rush it just to make his deadline. I don't know about this guy, maybe he gives himself plenty of time to do it.

well he gives you a deadline so you know when about to get your car, if it isnt done he starts lowering the price when it gets altter and latter. either way he takes his time and does a fabulous job. He usually does 2 cars a day and he has a guy that does 2 cars as well so that is 4 cars a day plus a road crew that does business and home windows. he is about the only one here I would trust my car with.
