New short antenna?

Did someone find or tried a new small-antenna that doesn'tstuck on the winter garage door pole and bends.Already found these from Honda S2000 and Audi TT that could fit but what about you guys.

How does the shorter antenna affect reception? Be honest.

Don't know VibeRater, but if these short antennas are "coiled" may be it could work as much as original single rod... Anyway, will wait for some advises on that, what I'm looking is to get in the winter garage Tempo * without bending the original "too high" antenna. So if there is any significant change in reception I'll change for "inter antenna" and "summer -original- antenna" as per winter and summer wiper blades!!!
