i've searched through two pages here, and didn't find the info i'm looking for. i want to install my JVC KD-S890 am/fm/cd player (an in dash unit i installed, then removed from my last vehicle) in my '03 vibe with moons n tunes. it will replace the factory cd player. has anyone fabricated anything that looks good to cover that gaping hole in my dash when i put in the normal sized car stereo? i found an adapter at crutchfield, but $20 seems kinda steep. i've also found a wiring harness at crutchfield that says it's for the '03 vibe, but it doesn't look right. when i pulled my vibe stereo out to look at the back a month or two ago, i seem to remember two plugs, besides the antennae. this is one solid plug:General Motors Receiver Wire HarnessFor select models, 1999-up, 24-pin Molex plugItem #120702003i know i need an antennae adapter too.

there's always something on ebay, like this http://cgi.ebay.com/PONTIAC-VI...sting, about $16 with shippingI think only the one connector on the back of the vibe radio is used, unless you've got the nav system.

i'll have to pull it out again this weekend, so i know what i'm talking about. no, i don't have the nav system. just the single disc in dash cd/radio. thanks for finding that adapter. maybe i won't try making something now. it would just look like %$#@.

Thats the right plug. The antenna adapter is a 40-GM10(Metra)

Yes, as WV said, that is correct. The second plug is not used when installing aftermarket audio.
