Ok, I've had my Vibe a few months now, and it has been refered to as a station wagon and a minivan more than a few times by people wondering what it is. Have you had any other creative descriptions (hopefully more flattering) of your Vibes?

I typically drive with the back seats up. But the last few weeks I've been hauling a lot of stuff (bathroom remodel). My daughter called it the tiny truck.I'd consider it a sport-wagon if I had my choice... but it's difficult to say sport and 4 cylinder engine in the same breath.

I've called it a piece of S**t quite a few times lately. But thats because of the extremely poor toyota quailty design transmission.wait, that's not what you want to hear. huh Sorry!It has been called many thing's truck, mini-van, Suv, car, Aztec want to be, Mini Aztec LOL!

Mine has been called a little truck by my niece. I call it a wagon myself.

I kid you not, someone actually called it a mini-PT Cruiser. No, I didn't smack them, I was too stunned. Once I was able to gather my wits, I did correct them.

Mine was called dog$|-|I-|- brown, boomer, my ex once called it the ironicmobile because she was inside teh vibrator , and its been called a minivan by my aunts sick stepdad...he was sick and I let it slide. Edit: almost forgot the worst of all, when i first purchased it it was right before halloween and everyone called it a pumpkin. Every always said it was a brown SUV though. To this day I don't see how someone could call that bright orange brown.

A friend of mine still insists that my vibe looks like a pregnant ladybug.I'm still trying to figure that one out!

i call mine a suv - Sexy utility vehicleat home my dad has a ford escape so i call mine a mini-escape-hatch back-soccer mom van-van-wagon

well i like to call mine a 5 door hatchbackbut i know people who call it a wagon its not a wagon i say its a 5 door hatchbackif its a wagon mine is a fast wagon with a cold air intake and a chip plus the new exhaust

A buddy of mine said from the front it looked "like they took a minivan and shrunk it."Ouch!

I sometimes refer to it as a "sub-compact sports utility vehicle" (i think i read that somewhere)..... it gets people thinking about what i'm talking about.... after some confused looks i eventually tell them it's a matrix with a pontiac logo.-Brooke

Mine has been called a mangled piece of rusting metal. Oh ya, I forgot, it is a mangled piece of rusting metal now in somebody's junk yard.

I just got it.. but so far, i just call it a Sport-Wagon. A guy at another dealership called it a "crossover" vehicle.

I prefer to call my Vibe of for it to be called a sport wagon, but a coworker of mine calls it "an active young persons vehicle," in a half joking and half mocking sort of tone. Makes me a little angry because he has a fetish with VW's and BMW's and looks down on my car. I have ridden in a BMW before and I have to say that they had the MOST uncomfortable seats I have ever sat in in a car. My Vibe is better.

mine was nick namened mini van didn't like it at first but it grew on me.

My wife sometimes calls it "pumpkin tater" (get it? we live in Idaho?)I call it "the orange glow".And I consider it a sports wagon.And my son tried to turn our first one into an airplane when he "flew" it upside down for 30 feet during the first of 3 rolls!

Nothing, nobody ever knows (or cares) what it is.

I don't care what anyone calls mine as long as I keep getting over 30 mpg.

I guess you Vibers don't have this problem, but a lot of people have called my XRS "that new hybrid".A girl that I dd'd with called it a "mommy missile". ?

Some girls at a local drive thru called it 'cute'. And for that matter, so were they...

I just got my insurance statement from State Farm and they call it a Station Wagon!

i could have swore this topic has been done but i cant seem to find it!!Oh well!!I have a wagon plain and simple mabe if i had another 75-100 hp then i'd have a sport wagon.maybe the correct term would be economy wagaon

A few months after I got my Vibe it was vandalized by some yahoo throwing a pumkin at it. I called the police and while he was filling out the report he asked me if my car was the new Aztec.

A friend's sister called it a mini SUV (hence the reason why she liked it). After I gave her a look of utter disgust, I politely informed her that it is a station wagon. I like station wagons. So there.

Today a friend at work told me I had a "sharp little sportscar". I liked the sound of that even though a base auto Vibe probably doesn't really classify as sportscar material.

lol rode with a co-worker who i talked into buying a vibe recently to Sonic for lunch and this girl runs out and asks if that is the new prodege (sp?)? I said shweethart look inthe front in the middle of the grill. She blushed and gave him his sodie pop. vibe looking like prodege...not quite.
