OUCH!!!! About 4 months ago, before I knew what options I was going to order on my Vibe, my dealer showed me a Vibe with similar options that I was thinking about. The person who owned this Vibe had just bought it and was driving it back from Detroit to Lansing when he hit a deer. The front end of his Vibe looked a lot like that Matrix.

Definitely ouch. Didnt Vibes/Matrixs get a good crash rating, though?

wow, that actually isn't that bad. Only body work, radiator maybe? Probably $2k worth of damage.

All cars are designed to crumple around the steel safety cage. The outer panels of the car absorb the impact so you feel less of the impact inside the car. The outer panels are replacable but you aren't. Does look kind of gnarly though. I would guess about 3k damage ( not too bad, probably 20-30 MPH impact)

Ouch! I hope that they didn't bother to install a CAI on it yet, looks like it would have gotten pinched shut.

Reminds me of my Dodge Stratus in May 2002.
