Has anyone bought this hitch from Etrailer?Does it include the ball mount and installation hardware. I assume it does not include the ball.Charles

I have bought a few hitches in the past from other places. Unless you order it, most likely the ball mount will not come with the hitch. ball mounts are universal and can be bought from almost any auto part store or even wal-mart

Installation is a breeze, just screw in the 4 bolts, torque down (if possible) and you're done.Had a good experience with ETrailer.com too, so you should be set. No holes to drill? Is ther already holes in the frame that match the hitch?How much was shipping and how long did it take to get to you?

answered my own question. I just ordered on for myself aloong with the 4" raised ball mount.Now for the wiring: Which wiring kit do you guys use? how easy is the install of the wiring?Thanks

I had good luck with etrailer also, got the wiring from them also. Very simple install thanks to the above mentioned wiring thread. It's funny though, they send this little bitty hitch in a HUGE box lol

I bought the hidden hitch last month.I did a writeup in one of the threads about my install. Very easy to install, no drilling required. Bolts in to existing frame holes specifically for this purpose.WIRING: I bought the 18130 taillight converter box for hardwiring into the taillights.Now that I have them wired in I find that they do not work well.There is not enough current coming off the wiring for the tail lights. If you are driving with your headlights on and use your turn signal the voltage drops so much that both sides seem to be flashing together rather than one signal flashing.Driving without lights on the signals and brake lights work fine.I would suggest buying the more expensive taillight converter that uses it's own power source (12v wire you run to the box) to power the lights so it does not rely on the power at the existing lights.The one problem I have is that in my AWD Vibe the hitch is so close to the muffler that when turning corners it starts tapping against the hitch frame. Not bad and only on corners that are a little bumpy.

I think I like the Draw-Tite hitch better from etrailer ... it is about $20 cheaper, and is held on by six (6) bolts, not only four (4) bolts on the Hidden Hitch.Oops ... the Hidden Hitch apparently "Includes drawbar, pin and clip", whereas the Draw-Tite does not. Also, GenVibe member "the_nite_owl" states that his Hidden-Hitch rattles against his exhaust at this thread.
