Her are some pics of my buddies Focus, he has lots of sponsors and didn't pay for much of the parts on his car(Damn lucky people). And yes the intercooler on the front is fully functional, I'm not sure how much boost he is running but I do know he is at about 200 wheel horse power, according to the last dyno run he had on last saturday!!!

He has had that kit for about 2-3 years now and he only paid for shipping, he has a new kit sitting in his garage that will make it a wide body kit and will eliminate those big a** fogs. I will hopefully post new pics when he gets the new kit mounted!!

It's a nice looking car, although I am not a fan of those huge fog lights A friend of mine has one and they are fun cars to mod and drive as well.

I may be going against the grain here, but that thing looks ridiculous.

Recently retired Bro-in-law just got a 05 Focus ZX-4 (low end) with AT & AC. MSRP $16,345, Employee price (incl $2,500 rebate) of $12,300, plus another $400 off as they really wanted to move the car, net of $11,900 plus tax & usual inflated doc. fees. [Also got a fair trade-in of $1,000 for his old car that wasn't worth anymore than that.] Seems like good basic transportation for the money. Reasonably quite, decent pick up, smooth ride. I think his 10 year old Saturn stick shift cost more than that. EPA MPG is 26/32. He looked at Vibes but they were obviously another $3,000 plus over the Focus. So, there is a market for Fords, though I fear not a profitable market.

Yeah, you can get a focus new for almost the same price as a used kia. Ford's vehicle pricing is why they can claim to be the best selling truck maker (f-150). Their fleet vehicles are thousands cheaper than GM or Dodge and it reflects in their resale values as well. Anyway, Can you believe this????Now they have their own magazine?? Yuck! I mean, they are an ok ride but this is a bit much. I love the tag line where it says "Annihilate imports and beat V-8's" (removed)??? Beat V-8's on gas mileage? Beat them on being lighter on the scales?? What V-8 powered cars are they racing, stock 78 olds delta 88's with Granny barely able to see over the steering wheel??? Maybe my old '86 Grand Prix with the severly under powered 305 (under 200 hp) when bone stock. As I said, the focus is not a bad car, I have driven them and they make a fine commuter car. The SVT focus I test drove was a blast to drive, but that blue oval thing.....well.....could'nt do it. That focus has very nice paint, nice wheels and an interesting body kit. But the limo tint, horsepower enhancing window stickers, and the cheesy glue on air intakes on the hood look ridiculous. Add in the cheese grater grill inserts and this car's theme song could be performed by vanilla ice "Rice, rice baby...you're drivin' rice rice baby" Now this is more like it:
