You should be okay with 16" as long as you get a good snow tire. Personally I've found the Blizzaks to be awesome.

Where did you find them in NJ?I am a little uneasy about trying them being that they are a remanfactured tire on a old casing as opposed to a new tire.

I bought a 15" tire and wheel package from Tire Rack... Got a set of Blizzaks, didn't really get much snow after installing them, but they did do a good job in the rain. lol!

Damn right! One of the guys at work that tried to help me get the car out of the parking lot when it was stuck in a foot of ice/snow/etc. prior to the Blizzak purchase comments to this day that getting those tires helped everyone else in the area.

They gave me a brochure when I bought them but I can't find it right now. They're considered "all season" but they're as loud as snows, so I use them winter only. It's a shame they won't fit the new car, so I'll be selling them soon.Quote, originally posted by mikey00 »Where did you find them in NJ?I am a little uneasy about trying them being that they are a remanfactured tire on a old casing as opposed to a new tire. They're amazing performance-wise. I felt more secure on those green diamonds then I do on the Kumhos. You can't get them in state. I had ordered them direct from GD, they shipped them to me (only $34 for shipping, quite reasonable!)As I said above, however, as soon as I final, ize the deal for the new car, I'm selling these, so if you are interested, hold out for a month (or less) and I'd be willing to cut you a deal on mine, they have only 5200 miles on them! And they're already wheel-mounted on steelies.

I would be quite interested but i know my finance committee will give me a denial.as I have AWD and fresh RS-A's on now and dont really need a snow tire....They still would be nice!! It just an interesting concept. plus I have no way to store the spare set

I would be interested when you come up with a price. I was kind of leaning toward the Michelin X-Ice and already have a set of steelies. But a set of Green Diamonds already mounted could be interesting. We are both in NJ so shipping shouldn't be an issue.
