I saw both kind of visors at the Ohio Meet and I was just wondering which you like better and maybe why?

I like the WeatherTech ventvisors the best. They are in-channel (no tape) and I think they look nicer because they have a lower profile from the side of the car. That reminds me... I need to order a set of those.

yup got the weather tech love em, no tape, just make sure the window is clean of grit as well as the window channel, otherwise the edge of the window may get scratched, but it's a great product none the less.

Is the GM vent visors made by Weathertech or Ventvisor? The cheapest I've seen the Weathertech is $79.95 w/ free shipping at btgmotoring.com. Any other place cheaper?

The GM visor is a stick-on made by Auto Vent Shade. $79 is a steal.

E Bay has the ventvisors for $35.99. I have installed them on my last three vehicles with excellent results. Go to e Bay parts and accessories, (Pontiac Vibe)

Knowing what I know now (and this was learned minutes after installing the stick-on vent shades) I would go for the ones that mount in the channel. You see, with mounting the ones with double sided tape to the door, you're in essence taping something onto a piece of tape. Granted, 2.5 years, 54,000 miles, and who knows how many washes, they are still secure as they were the day I installed 'em. As long as the blackout tape was applied properly to the doors at the factory and it hasn't been damaged or showing any signs of peeling, it should be ok. I haven't heard an incident yet of this type of visor falling off, but it is always a possibility, I suppose.

I have had the Ventvisors (I installed them myself) on at least my last five vehicles and have NEVER had a problem with them and due to the fact I am handicapped....I always have to go through the car wash...No Problems at all. As I previously posted, go to EBay and type in Pontiac Vibe accessories ....Ventvisors are for sale (brand new) for appox. $38.00

have owned 7 vehicles thus far and all but 2 haven't had ventvisors. NEVER a problem with any coming off. even on my tundra that i regularly took off roading thru brush and all kinds of crazy places/climates. the ones on my vibe i bought from meathead333 second hand. went and bought 3M vehicle mount tape and had it on the car for 2 winters. NO problems whatsoever, didn't interfere with my tint, scratch anything or even appear to come loose or fall off.

I have Ventshades (stick), came with the car, I wanted them off, but they never took them away and when I drove around with them for a few days, they really lower the profile of the windows, being that my car is black. Looks slick and everyone loves them!P.S.- Don't be jealous of Black Pearl Metallic, it's just better than your color

I have the Weathertechs and love them. They don't stick out nearly as far as the stick on type and have a better finish IMO. I bought them direct from Weathertech. The fronts just pop into the window channel and the rears do the same but with adhesive also to help keep them from dropping out when your windows are open.

Big + on the ability to get your towel/hand under there for drying on ventshades. And Scott, it's ok, you don't have to admit it in public, we can talk on a private session about your denial, (removed)!!
