can this be done?

i want to keep my stock sistem... remove the back sub and install my own. turn the crossover so no base from the inside speakers. keep all intact...???

Well, if you have the 'Monsoon' system in a 2005, the amplifier already has the crossovers for the door speakers. You can get 'bass blockers' put in for the four lower door speakers, but I don't think they'll do anything useful.As for replacing the stock sub, you'll probably need a new amplifier for that too.
