i have finally installed my Dual Audio Illuminites in the vibe yesterday and boy was it fun getting those rivits out. anyway i'll post the pics as soon as i can but i have 2 more speakers to buy and then its on to the subs..... . the subs im looking at are the Dual Audios 2 12" subs in a premade box from Best Buy

i wanted to consider them. can you see the blue thru the speaker covers?

I've seen the DUAL brand but have no experience with it. I'd assume since you're going with that brand that you like it--recommendations? What's your plan...you going to replace everything?

The lights are actually suspended in front of the cones and reflect off..I've seen one of these boxes, and the guy came back three weeks later saying the lights had gone out and the speakers blew... But that was a while ago..

the lights are little LED on the post and i have to find some speaker wire to run the lights thru the door to a 12V source. but i am looking at replaceing the rear speakers with the same things. and it sounds awsome withe the new speakers in..

yes you can see the light through the door speaker hole. but here is the pic of it installed.

They look great but keep your receipt I'v never seen a Dual brand sub last longer than 6 months. The Best Buy here had to stop carrying them.

The Best Buy here had to stop carrying them.Yup'......I agree......these are not meant for "actual use"......be very careful with them and they'll last a while, use them at a sound off and you'll never make it out of the staging lanes.On the other hand, they do have a cool looking concept there.
