Okay, I'll be good Seriously, where is everybody? Been all dead here for the past couple of days...

Well, I wasn't tryin' to be no hoe, I just wanted to know where everybody was at. It's scary checking active topics and seeing stuff on there from yesterday. Everybody's getting ready for the Ohio meet, that's it. I'm not one who cares about post count, I think the world would be a much better place if that were eliminated all together. Actually, take the god status away from me, I wouldn't care...

Sometimes the number of posts in here come in dribbles and spurts (no pun intended from the previous posts) I remember about 6 months or so ago where it was almost completely dead in here for about three weeks. Then things got rolling again. You know there is a break in conversation every nine minutes on average. There is probably a break in forum conversation every 6 months.

Right now I've got a cool post count, so I have been idling at it, if I post, I have to delete some old post whoring to hold steady. That will get old pretty quick.Did you see the pic of my dog in the pets thread? I usually don't let him drive, he likes to drop the clutch more than I think he should.Maybe we should come up with some more trivial polls. stuff like "what's your favorite ice cream?" or "what time of day were you born?"

We could always revive the "so.." thread to liven things up a bit. http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=17766

Oh yeah. The proprietors of this site probably found they had a shload of bandwidth used for absolutely no reason on that one.

re: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzYou got it exactly, ColonelPanic! There was no time for the usual late-night GenVibing, had to catch up on sleep!...Public school teachers (e.g. my wife) start school this (Thursday 8/11.05) morning at 7:30 a.m. Students (e.g. my son) resume classes at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow (Friday)....So with back to school shopping, mowing lawns, a Habitat emergency meeting Tuesday, a Church cabinet meeting Monday, Mother-in-law had surgery yesterday and will be in the hospital a day or so, and a church Stewardship meeting to prepare for this morning... I've probably posted less than once a day since May

No, I think people here actually have lives! They probably just have better things to do that's all. Unlike us... who struggle to keep things "alive" here! Or it might be the fact that it's 2:53am! LOL

I'm with Drunken...every morning when I boot my computer up, I check cnn.com to see if the world got blowed up over night, then immediately check genvibe.com, and I pretty much stay there all day! I could ask my very most favorite question...maybe I'll start another topic on that one.

LOL.... a "life" would be something other than genvibe.... not saying anything bad about the site! I would have more of a life if I wasn't sitting on a big gray floating chunk of steel (yes I'm in the Navy!) 70 miles from shore! To make it worse, I am currently "working" nights from 5pm-5am doing absolutely nothing because practically the entire ship is asleep and quiet. So I come on here to see if anything exciting is going on and nope nothing. Everyone must be asleep too I guess. Such is life...

haze gray and underway. So I take it you aren't racking up a lot of miles on the Vibe. I guess if it was a carrier, you could run it back and forth up top, but would suck to accidentally engage the catapult. Would probably permanently set the Vibe acceleration record though.

Not sure if I have ever seen so many posts in that short of a time period. Many users went in that thread as a noob and came out a God!! I usually check this forum at night as my jobby job rarely allows me to take a computer break which is maddening because I am at a computer all day. And on weekends when I am not working sleeping or watching TV I am on here hitting the refresh button looking for somebody who is just as pathetic as me.

the single or not thread was the fastest growing one I have seen here, at least of those that are still here.Big Ohio meet today, so folks from that area will probably be quiet today, until the post meet reports start to come in.

Actually my Vibe has quite a lot of miles racked up already. It's a 2004 and I've got a little over 31,500 miles already! I bought it used and it was a previous rental vehicle which explains the high mileage. But yeah, since we've been out so much I haven't really been driving it around a lot which is good. By next year it should pretty much even out with it having that many miles at the two year mark.
