What is the best way to get more horsepower and (more importantly) torque from the 05 GT engine? Other than CAI, unichip, custom exhaust. I'm talking simple mods no engine tear downs. Who's got the vibe with the most horsepower?

quick and easy and cheap cannot all be used when hp/torq are wanted :/

Beyond your basic CAI/exhaust/unichip combo, there's really no way to tweak the vibe for cheap (or easy).So far as I can tell, the 2ZZ is pretty well tuned out of the factory, so your next step for more go-juice would involve pricey parts and lots of tear-down work - cams, forced induction, etc, etc, etc.The only other suggestion I would have would be to peruse some of the Celica forums, as they use the 2ZZ in the GT-S's.-jk

I just remembered that someone here put a throttle body spacer on their vibe (couldn't find through a search), but I did find the link to the part http://wheelskin.com/Merchant2...97185There was talk of more power (percieved, at least) from that.
