Just rolled in from a one week trip up nort' to Hayward WI and many lakes in that area. Put over 1300 miles on the Vibe, but she hauled up a weeks worth of provisions, fishing gear, and clothing for three people. Averaged 29mpg on the way up with a soft car top carrier for some bulky things we're leaving at our parent's cabin. 34mpg with A/C on the way back. I esstimated we had about 200 pounds of cargo. The roads up there have been paved and groomed so well - it's a far cry from the carpet bombed gravel roads I remember. Now it's miles of 25-35MPH twisty S roads with fresh pavement that are fun to drive - lots of deer around too though. They know it's not hunting season yet There are great road trips up there to state parks and beaches, the drive is as fun as the destination! I didn't catch a single fish - but I still had a great time away from everything. The wife caught a 19" Muskie - well under the limit, but still fun to catch and release. I do admit to being disconnected from technology was a bit of a challenge - hardly any cell phone reception, only one wifi hotspot that was publicly available, and no cable. I should have stayed disconnected - when I jumped online to check my mail, my boss IMed me and begged me to work a 6a-6p for the next three days... 4am wake up call... son of a :* but I get the next four off... so it's a good trade.XM saved the day though - Lucy for great tunes on long drives and CNN headline news to keep up with the news.I got a photo somewhere of the Vibe in front of the Muskie monument at the fishing hall of fame... I'll post it here when I get a second. If I missed anyone's replys or questions in the forums - PM me please. Glad to be back!

Just got back from a weekend stay in milauwkee ....didnt take the vibe though. We needed to get my wifes car out on the hwy. While in milwaukee spotted a red monotone vibe with yellow flames on the siddes from the Vibe badge to the rear.
