Warranty Up Tomorrow

Well I didn't get anywhere near the 60,000km mark (I'm at 40,000km), but my 3 years with Sputnik comes about tomorrow which means the warranty is up. The only problem we had in the first three years is the spring on the fuel door popped out and is now gone. So the part has arrived and I'm picking it up tomorrow - that should still be covered right? Lord knows I ordered the thing 3 weeks ago and they only just called on Thursday (although I called last week and found out it was in).

24,854 mi! Wow. I think I do that in about a year. *cry!* lol! Still to only have the little springy thing be an issue, that's a pretty good track record. Congrats on the good luck, but sucks to see the warranty go bye-bye!

Wow, you have less miles than I do...not many people around here can say that! Mike got in my car at last year's Ohio rally and couldn't believe it only had about 16K on it. Now it's got 25,160, and it will be three years old Oct. 31.Sounds like you've had the kind of good luck I had...my only warranty repair was really the TSB on the catalytic converter. All the other stuff was inflicted by the dealership, and I made them fix it. Here's to continued good luck for both of us, after 3 years and beyond!

Yeah I don't drive it to work or anything, so I drive it a couple of times of week to the gym and to get groceries. Other than that its used for misc. shopping expeditions and trips to Kingston (400km round trip). Knock on wood that my good luck with Sputnik lasts until next August when the lease is up. I'm thinking of buying it out at that point, but I'm not sure yet.

Take heart though that you should still have 100,000km powertrain warranty so its not ALL over just yet.

Mine is in there very tight. I TRIED to take it out, couldn't budge it. Perhaps the thing that holds it in place is broken?
