Every Wednesday in downtown Mt Clemens there is a car show. At around 3 or so the muscle cars and hotrods and bikers show off. Then around 8-9 all teh tuners and lowriders show up and park at the end of Main street. Most of the classics leave around 9 or so or they will accompany the bikers in the bars for the rest of the night. There are a million kids there at night around hte lowrider/tuner area. Everything from 3000gts, WRXs and Supras to Escalades, Hydrolic vehicles, and bagged out mustangs Anyways, I'll post a few of hte best pics on here but I also have a photobucket link to the rest. Let me know if the link does not work.

(removed)...i wanna keep the vibe and put a 350 in it...gonna cost alot and have to make the nose onger but itll be worth it.Yeah Michigan is a great state as far as summer and cars are concerned. Personally I love muscle cars alot more than "tuners" unfortunately I do not have the money to up keep one or build one. I still love tuners but there is NO tuner car that will ever even come close to impressing me as much as a classic steel beast with a 454...so powerful you can feel the engine vibrate your bones and make your heart skip beats...and ahhh yes the smell of turbo blue, high octane and even alcohol fuel are amazing in themselves. Doesn't matter how many turbos or psi of boost it is running, or how much carbon fiber and weight reduction it has I will love muscle better lol!!!Sorry I was fantasizing One of these days...

Nice pics bro! We have the same thing here Thursday nights at the Orange Julep (where we had the Montreal meet this year ) Lots of classic American muscle cars, import and domestic tuners, and motorcycles all in one place! It is such a wicked site I tell you.PS I agree with you. My dream car (besides a Ferrari) would be a 1969 Pontiac GTO

my dream car is either a '68 Baracuda (not the '71 body style), a Corvair, or a '69 Charger. The story with the dual exhaust mini-van...I was at a light one night while cruising around and this mini van rolls up next to me. The exhaust is rumbling and gargling as he stops. I look ove rin disbelief. There's an older 60 year old man driving it with goofy glasses. I give him the thumbs up and he waves smilling. THe light turns green, he slams on the gas and does a descent sized burnout and then blows me out of the water. His exhaust was way louder than my Borla and it sounded really clean, kinda like a camaro. I gues I've seen it all now.His wife must have made him sell is CHallenger for a minivan to transport their kids so he made the best of it! It is definately an awsome van though.
