I agree... who care what everyone else thinks. Put it where you want to and let them deal with it.

my wife isn't TRDVibe for a reason... only thing Pontiac about that Vibe was the fact it looked like a Vibe. It was complete with TRD on the steeringwheel, debadged of all Vibe sitckers and had TRD stickers to replace it. Even had a TRD strut tower brace and CAI...

I hope you all believe there is no such thing as a stupid question. Educate me - what does TRD stand for?

"Toyota Racing Development" or something... It *could* look weird on a Pontiac for some people, since not everyone knows these cars have been built around Toyota's crap. But to each his/her own...

i think it might look a tad odd on a pontiac personally, but likely only to the people who know what it stands for. then again if my opinion mattered, all those '03/'04 owners wouldn't be talkin' smack about the front end on my '05.it's your car. do what makes you happy. sites like this wouldn't be any fun if we all had the same opinions and the same mods.

Probably a number of those Toyota people will be looking down at the Vibe anyway since a crappy Pontiac sports the same hardware as their beloved Corolatrixes... So that really doesn't matter, I suppose - TRD stickers or not, they aren't going to like the car or want to admit that it's actualyl a stinkin' Toyota. heh.

I already got called on the VVT-i grefxwerkssticker. Some ricer gave me crap about it, so I popped the hood and showed him. If he was so into modding cars, you would think he would know this.

And GM is slowly integrating VVT technology into their engines...obviously won't be called VVT-i..but some variant thereof. Mitsu has MIVEC, Toyo has VVTL-i / VVT-i, GM has ???

I have a TRD badge on the rear end of the car on the opposite side of the Vibe badge and I love to see people that know nothing about the car pointing and laughing. Just remember our car was the one that was sold in Japan for a little (Voltz), not the Matrix!!!

No more ghetto than putting "Enkei", "Magnaflow", "Progress", "Tein", "Injen" and so forth.Maybe a little "ricey", but I think the qualifier is whether you've actually got that brand of equipment installed.I've got a TRD front sway bar and as soon as it gets installed, the TRD sticker's going on.

http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...43873 so for the last two years that's what I think of when I see TRD. I don't have any TRD labels on my car, but even without Jethro's insight, i am not a big one for stickers. It's your car, and you should do what you want to do to it.
