I just got another remote from e bay & I have read the posts on reprograming. Do I have to only program the new remote or do both the old & new one together?

Just program the new remote and you're good to go. The Vibe can handle up to four remotes, so if you have already had four different remotes programmed, the procedure may be different. But that's probably not the case.I've got three programmed for mine, no issues at all...

http://www.novaresource.org/vibe/add_remote.jpgNote there is an extra step you can do to "clear" all remotes programmed to the car, but I don't remember where that is described...

My car doesn't have any power package on it ('04 vibe ,auto). I loved teh car so much and I decided to get keyless and power door/windowI read some of the post, the keyless system costs only $15 (?) on eBay? Is that the everything I need for keyless.I also saw some "power door" packages for $50. I just wonder if that's applicable for me. what else do I need? I am a car idiot and wonder how hard the installation is.And how about power window and cruise control? The price and installation procedure? Thanks a lot.

The Ebay $15 auctions are for replacement or extra keyless remotes for vehicles that already have power locks and keyless entry systems. You'll probably need to have a professional installation done on a power lock and keyless entry systems. I've never priced it but I'd guess it'll run a few hundred $.Same for cruise control. Aftermarket kits are available that can be installed by auto shops.I'm sure other members will have more detailed info for you.

Got my remote on ebay, 7 bucks with shipping. I used the Toyota instructions and I had no problems. It looked sketchy, but it worked.
