Holy Gear Hauling

I went snowboarding this weekend with some friends. My friend has a little POS with no room for any equipment in it because he just throws everything into the trunk and back seat. So of course I was stuck carrying all of the equipment. In addition to the speaker box I have in the back. (2 10" subs) I also fit, 3 boards, 3 sets of boots, 2 backpacks, one set of ski's, boots and poles, and one set of snowblades and boots. Along with one person sitting in the back seat. I would have put some of the stuff on the roof if I had my snowboard rack but that is a different story. I hauled some serious equipment and the passsenger in the back was still comfortable. Lovin' the Vibe more and more every day.

That's impressive! I took a mountain bike trip about a month ago and I put 3 full suspension mountain bikes, 2 coolers, 3 backpacks, and my tool box in my Vibe. I still had romm for three people in there comfortably and I could still see out of the back window without anything in my way. I'm, without a doubt, sold on the roominess in these Vibes.

I'd like to know how you carry your bikes? Roof rack? trailer hitch rack? I'll be heading to Moab in May with 2 buddies and want to figure out the best way to equip the Vibe. Thanks.

You can get three inside your vibe. Take the font tire off each bike and the seat posts as well. Lay down the rear right side part of your seat so you have the small single passenger still up. The MB's will fit long ways in that area you just have to stack them on top of each other. If it get too tight in there, you can also take off the back tires , but you shouldn't need to do that . I wish I was going with you Moab is so much fun ride. I've only been there once but I will always remember it.
