She just laughs and calls me an (removed). I don't think she takes any offense to it. So yes, she knows I refer to her as the future Mrs. Poopypants. We've been together for 8.5 years. If she didn't put up with me being an (removed) we would have lasted about 2 months.

I'll be sure to post a link to pictures for those of you who are interested. And if all works out, Mario Lemieux may be coming to the wedding depending on his schedule, her dad did all of his MRIs when he was having back problems so they know each other quite well.

Thanks! We just printed outer envelopes, stuffed and stamped all 250 invitations last night. Those invitations are friggin nuts, they came with instructions on how to assemble them. There were 6 parts. Outer envelope, inner envelope, return envelope, invitation, reception card, a piece of tissue paper and a directions sheet we printed out and included in each invitation. What a friggin mess!

What a friggin mess!i know. we mounted a picture of the two of us for our "announcements" since our wedding was super secret (talk to phil about that), printed info on a sheet of vellum, then had to tie a ribbon to connect the two, put in directions, inner envelope, outer envelope, but no reception cards or return envelopes. i did that for the first one and of course no one ever sent them back. they just called or told someone else.... so i didn't bother with those this time. for the first 100 or so, i also sealed them with one of those wax stamps with an "R" (for Reeve)... that didn't last too long because it was a pain in the (removed). lol. so I printed up some nice clear labels with it instead. no one knew the difference unless they got one of the first 100. loljust wait til the last few days before the wedding when all the crazy relatives get there! ha ha ha! talk about STRESS!!!! of course, once the wedding is over, you will both breathe a huge sigh of relief! but a good one and hopefully your day will be as beautiful as ours was.

I'd like to go next fall however for maybe a week. Mexico or Hawaii. Mexico's cheaper, but I have some family friends in Honolulu that will let us stay with them for a few days and then maybe a resort for a few days..... who knows. we gotta discuss that further once we can afford it. plus, phil needs vacation time too.

Just slow down, and don't let yourself get caught in a rush. Take your time, and do things once, or you'll end up chasing your tails over things. I am now a great believer in checklists since I got married, believe me, it might look like a rocket launch, but its all about making the day special for her. (Yes, I said it, the groom has nothing to do with all this hub-bub, guys don't dream about wearing white and walking down the aisle their whole lives)

Only thing on my mind was waiting for someone to yell "I OBJECT!" at that "does anyone have any reason these two should not wed?" question.

One more comment, and I'll leave this alone. Don't do a huge honeymoon right after the wedding unless you've got tons of cash. 2nd day in, my lovely new wife was worried about the money we had spent to get to Hawaii, and the money we were spending while there, and it just wasn't any fun. Go to a nice place close at hand, ie; a cabin, a bed & breakfast, ect. Something you can enjoy, but not be in a plane, train or automobile for hours and hours, and spend a potload of money on. You'll cherish the memory a lot longer and easier, I promise.

TN, I agree with your advice, Mrs. Poopy and I have been so organized it's sick. I am generally not a very organized person but we have this ginormous binder with all the stuff in it. And yes, I know it's all for her. And if you scroll up, we are waiting almost a year for the honeymoon.

Well, as the countdown continues so does everything else. Sunday was the wedding shower, I have been absent from the boards the past few days because I couldn't find my computer amongst all the boxes of stuff. I now need an entire room dedicated to bakeware. It seems as though everyone went nuts and got Kim a cookie sheet or 3. Anyway, 37 days.......crunch time. The guest list is starting to build, there were 491 invited and we already have 250 RSVPs, we only sent the invitations out last week. The mailman has got to be getting pissed. I, of course, am stressed as all get up, it hit me Sunday when the kitchen and mud room were full of boxes. I had a path to the fridge, sink and basement door in the kitchen and that was it. Luckily things are getting sorted out slowly, very slowly. On top of this, I have the fence being put up in the yard today and my yard is torn to hell and I have a Rubbermaid shed in a box in my front yard that weighs 250 lbs. I don't know how I'm gonna get that box into the back yard. Someone please......send some seditives or a half gallon of Southern Comfort.

Aww, Poopy...it'll be okay. I'd be absolutely no help with the shed, though...maybe if you just drag it with a rope it won't be so bad? Heh. As for all that bakeware, hope Kim likes to cook! LOL I think I'd take some of it back if you got a lot of duplicates. Wal-Mart will take back pretty much anything they sell, whether it was bought there or not, and if you don't have a receipt they'll give you a gift card, which is always useful. Or else ask people if they got gift receipts or something, since everybody got the same thing and there's probably some other stuff you guys can really use.491 people though?! Damn! I don't think I know that many people! LOLAnyway, I have faith, you'll make it, and once it's all over with you can enjoy your marital bliss.
