alright, I start the subject, so we can discuss about it. personnaly, I think August is too soon for a second meet. As I suggested, I prefer mid-end october, so you can see how beautiful it is around here at this time of the year, with all the colors and stuff. If you agree with that, I can suggest two places. Power Center on Duplessi/Charest, or at Mont Ste-Anne, right next to the mountain, so we'll have a really nice background for pics, and those like me who like mountain bike or hiking, you'll be able to have two for the price of one: the meet, and the mountain. any comments?

October is far enough off I can still request a weekend off...If you guys seriously pull together for a meet, I'd love to come...Vibe or not.

I am up anytime for a meet, as long as I am not travelling for business. Mike, as you can see we are serious now when we plan a meet

Yes, I'd be interested in another meet, as soon as the date is definitive, I'd plan a weekend with my family.

I prefer a Saturday meet in early October SVP since I am travelling in the middle of that month. Also it will be easier for our out of towners to drive in.Option 2 sounds nice to me Shopping can be done later

Saturday, I'm supposed to have my schedule for all automn, so I'll be able to select a date on monday. I'll give you my possible dates. I also don't want to do it at Thanksgiving, cause most of us must have family diners plan on that week-end...we'll go for option 2 (Mt Ste-Anne), I really think it's a better idea. I'll go there soon to take some pictures to tease you a little

Sorry folks, my window for October vacation requests closes today. I'm out.In addition, the absurd cost of fuel right now makes it impractical for me to make any sort of real "road trips." Maybe in the spring if fuel costs come down.

Thanks for your understanding (again!).I do still hope to make it up in the spring...with whatever car I am driving at that point.In the mean time, I had about $250 set aside for this adventure. I eagerly sent it off to the red cross. Before when it was for a vacation, or now, as it is saving lives, I'm happy my money will help me feel better.

I just have my schedule for '05 fall. there's only ONE weekend I don't have to go to Montreal: October 8th-9th. ya, Thanksgiving weekend, the one I suggested not to choose. so I see three options:1- we do the meet friday October 7th (lots of people have 4 days of that weekend) or saturday October 8th.2- an other weekend but without me (I'll still plan it at Mont Ste-Anne for you guys)3- we do it at Montreal in an evening, so I'll be able to be there.or any other idea...

so?? what you guys think??

Well option 3 should be out since we had agreed to one Montreal and one Quebec City meet, plus I already told the wife we were going in October Which one would be the best, is everyone ok with option 1 meeting on Friday?

Hey Guy`s,mmh i don`t know if will able to go at the meet,but i will do my possible to go.So,it will take 25m from downtown you say ``Thewhite``,how much time we will spend there approx,...

it depends... if you want to do some hiking, can be there up to 5 or 6PM, just the meet up to 2 or 3PM...Sam, I kindda have the feeling we'll be only 3-4 to be there (Sam, Paul, Martin)... is it worth it??

Do you want to cancel it or move it back to Montreal but a different date? It is up to you guys....

the idea of having a meet in Quebec is great, but I think we'll have more people if we do it in Montreal. Excepting Vibzz and me, everybody at the last meet were from Montreal or around, so I think it's unfair to ask to 8-10 people to come to Quebec for 1-2... the most important point, for me, is to have as many people as possible, to have more fun and to make it an event. I think making one in Quebec now will be a step backward. Maybe later when we'll have regular people to regular meets... just a though.I suggest we keep the same date, but to do it to Montreal. We'll have greater chances to bring people from Ottawa and maybe from New-England.

I share the same opinion,we are not alot at Quebec,moving there for 3 guy's who already meet at Montreal,i don't know but...Maybe if we do a meet to Montreal for the moment.I'm trying to recruit new member,like few days ago,i saw a modded vibe,but i didn't find the driver,so i right on a paper to visit the site and i tell the good community we are and put under his wiper on his window...so i`m waiting the guy to showed up.

So,i don't want to feel guilty,we can take the opinion of others.But, i guess we are me,you and Thewhite.So,i will try to recruit new vibers,everytime i will bring pen,paper with me,in guess i found a vibe,i will right and put under his wiper.
