GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

The last couple of days in my 3 mo old Vibe it sounded like angry bees in my dashboard. I have read threads detailing annoying rattles and sounds from the dash. Anyways, getting out of the car I noticed this partly rusty nut at the base of the windshield. I think it was the problem but any ideas how it would have got there? Obviously hope it isnt from my Vibe .

I wouldn't be suprised if it got kicked up there by a car or truck in front of you while you were driving.

Probably just spare parts that flew off of ColonelPanic's Vibe. LOLMy guess is that it was put there intentionally or it came off of the road during a drive. Check the hood for dents and missing paint. And if something falls off in the next few days then you know where it goes. lol

That cat (in the other thread) hasn't just been sitting on your car...

only nut like that which could show up there might only have come from your wiper arms but those appear on and intact. I'd say someone left you a present. It would not have come from your car.

so THAT"S where that went! I lost a nut from my vibe just the other day!
