Ok, it's official, the summer Jersey Shore rally I tried to get going is dead in the water. It's not going to happen.I'd very much still like to get a rally going over here though, the one at the water gap 2 years ago was a nice success.I'm contemplating a shore meet in either late Sept or early Oct, before the weather gets TOO cold.Before I go all over though, scoping out sites, I want to know if there would be any interest in a fall rally at the shore.I realize many of us go to school, or are teachers, and after august availability for meets gets almost non-existent. But keep in mind, it would be on a weekend, almost definitely a saturday, so if you're not TOO far away, you could come in friday night, be home by sunday night.So, who would be interested?

Depends on when and where... I might have to try to make it.

I'd love to get together, but it is soccer season and almost every Saturday is taken up with coaching duties. If it were to extend into Sunday, then I'm game.

Yes, Sundays are much better for me too.

Sundays, eh? Should be feasible...I'll see what I can do. I'm going to drive down the lower shore in a month or so (after I get settled in the new job) and scope out some scenic spots, then hit up the town for permits (if needed) and such.
