I admit...I am a trekkie, its sad to see the orginal cast getting older and leaving us..

This has been one heck of a week.A co-worker was killed in a motorcycle accident over the weekend.I found out this morning that a long-time co-worker and friend died last night during the bypass surgery that was to save her life. Then to see this news. Not that Mr Doohan was a friend of any sort, I never knew him. But to someone, he was very important. His friends, family...It truly is unfortunate.

Thanks.Yes, it has been. Myself and the staff of the office, at least those who knew these folks.Sorry, didn't mean to drag the thread off-topic.It is unfortunate to see all of the actors from the classic films/TV shows starting to pass on. We're losing some of the great entertainers.

My parents let me stay up late when I was 8-10 yrs old to watch the original series in 66-68. Scotty was one of my favorite TV characters of all time. Godspeed!

he was always one of my favs from the old Star Trek, enjoyed every guest appearance he did in later episodes as well on Generations and such. Wonder who is next to get beamed up...
