Vibe debadged

Was bored this weekend and decided to debadge the car. I really like the look, nice and clean.I used dental floss and it took me about 15 minutes to do both doors. The Pontiac symbol took me about 10 minutes.Using the dental floss (or fishing line) make a sawing (back and forth) motion between the badge and the glue not on the paint you will scratch it. I left the car out for about an hour in very warm weather which helped in the removal of the badges. I then used my short fingernails to rub off the glue from the paint. After that I washed the car, used a small compound glaze on the area, rubbed that off and then waxed it. Voila here is the final result

Do they just pop off? (ei: Are the badges just glued on was prolly a better question.)

(ei: Are the badges just glued on was prolly a better question.)Yes they are glued with an adhesive which with my technique of a back and forth motion (like sawing) it will fall off. Then just clean off the adhesive I just got rid of the VIBE sign in the trunk so it is totally debadged
